Last week’s #ThursdayTheme was reflection photography and we had an abundance of gorgeous entries to look through. You certainly don’t like to make it easy for us!!!
Our #FridayFoto was this cracker by Liz Stowe!
There were loads of entries more polished than this one. There were loads of images that were ‘technically’ better than this one. But sometimes it’s just not about that, is it?
Here’s what Julie had to say about Liz’s image:
‘I chose this image because it said so much. It is such a raw and gritty image in lots of ways. I can’t help but imagine where the passengers have been that day. I imagine them returning (exhausted) home from work. Bored of travelling the same route every single day.
I love the almost ‘double exposure’ effect that we have from the reflection. Being able to see the contrast between the quiet and subdued interior of the bus and the lively street outside is just fantastic.
I know Liz mentioned that it was grainy. Personally I wouldn’t want it any other way. It just adds to the overall feel of this edgy image.
Bit of a personal choice this week – this just spoke to me. Thanks so much for sharing it Liz!’
Thank you to everyone, as always!!!!!
